The Brown Thumb Society is a program to help those interested in Gardening–whether houseplants, outdoor gardens or Vegetable Gardening– gain the knowledge and experience to begin or enhance their hobby. The Brown Thumb Society will host weekly events to teach different aspects of gardening in several different topics.
Ever wanted to plant a raised bed vegetable garden? Why not sign up for classes to learn how to do just that!
What about learning how to transplant houseplants into new or larger containers as well as learning about how to care for those houseplants? There will be a customized lesson just for that!
The Brown Thumb Society will host special guest speakers as well, with a host of topics such as Beekeeping and the importance of our friendly pollinators. Want to go Green and learn how to garden without all those pesky chemicals? We will have classes for just that! The horticulture field is so vast that the possibilities are endless, so please keep an eye out for upcoming events on the events section!
